Carob

Carob's purpose is to offer Sequoia access to ODBC, C and C++ client applications.

Carob provides:

• A C++ API: libCarob
  Carob's base is a C++ port of the JDBC driver code. It offers to developpers the same access as in Java. Connections, Statements, Requests, ResultSets and all necessary C++ classes can be used transparently and directly in any C++ enabled application.
• An ODBC Interface: ODBSequoia
  Applications that use ODBC can access Sequoia clustering solution by simply using the ODBC driver. From now, PHP, C#, VB and all associated languages can take advantage of the high availability and scalability of Sequoia.
• A MySQL - C API: libMySequoia
  MySQL client programs can use the Sequoia clustering solution without changing any line of code in the aplication. For example PHP, Perl and Python can transparently connect to Sequoia clusters.
